SC, Microsoft Partner to Digitize Work Practices and Methods

The Supreme Court of the Philippines, in partnership with Microsoft, today began a two-day series of Webinars under the Judiciary 365 Virtual Adaption Caravan aimed at orienting judiciary employees with the different applications and functionalities available on the Philippine Judiciary 365 platform (M365).
Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta, who opened Day 1 of the Judiciary 365 Virtual Adaption Caravan, said “The present global health crisis has forced the courts to hurriedly adjust the adapt to the parameters of a mostly virtual work environment, accelerating the need of the court officials and employees to embrace digital transformation in order to operate effectively and safely.”
Among the topics discussed by subject matter experts include Tips & Tricks on Teams, Introduction to Power Platform, and modernizing the workplace with M365.
Close to 4,000 judiciary employees – including judges, Justices, and their staff, from the lower courts to the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Court of Tax Appeals and Sandiganbayan – participated in the Webinar. As a tribute to Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta who will be retiring on March 27, 2021, a quiz bee about the Chief Justice will be held to towards the end of the Caravan on Day 2.
